Would you like to learn more about the science behind cancer?

This free public talk will explain how genetic mutations lead to cancer and how understanding this can help us to develop better treatments.

Using real examples from research happening here in Cardiff, Dr Maddy Young will give a 40 minute talk about how the scientific contribution from local people is making a real difference in understanding this devastating disease.

The event starts at 4.30pm with a drinks reception and canapes, followed by the lecture at 6pm.

This event is free to attend. Please reserve your place online.
