Study in Indonesia
Climate: Indonesia is hot and humid all year round, but cooler inland than along the coastal regions. The monsoon from December to March brings the heavy rains. The dry season, from April to October, is the best time to visit as some activities and road travel can be difficult during the rainy season.

Language: Indonesian is the official language of Indonesia. Indonesian is a normative form of the Riau Islands dialect of Malay, an Austronesian language which has been used as a lingua franca in the Indonesian archipelago for centuries.

Currency: The name for the Indonesia Rupiah was adopted from the Indian form of currency, the Rupee. Prior to the Rupiah, Indonesia used the Dutch guilder from 1610 to 1817, when the Dutch East Indies guilder was introduced. The Rupiah was first introduced during the World War II Japanese occupation.

In that year approximately 5% of the population was over 65 years of age, with another 31% of the population under 15 years of age.

Capital City: Jakarta  is the capital and largest city of Indonesia. Located on the northwest coast of Java, it has an area of 661 square kilometres (255 sq mi) and a 2010 census count population of 9,580,000.
