(Davis, CA) — The UC Davis Graduate School of Management’s Full-Time MBA is ranked among the top 50 programs in the U.S. for the 25th consecutive year, according to U.S. News & World Report’s latest graduate business school rankings released March 17, 2020.
The UC Davis Part-Time MBA, offered in Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area, was ranked in the top-tier at No. 31 in the U.S News ranking of part-time programs in the U.S. It is the ninth consecutive year the Part-Time MBA program has been ranked among the top programs in the nation.
FULL-TIME MBA RANKING
U.S. News’ latest ranking places the Full-Time MBA program at No. 48, among the top 10% of the 477 MBA programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB) that were surveyed.

PART-TIME MBA RANKING
At No. 31 overall, the UC Davis Part-Time MBA program is among the top 11% of AACSB International-accredited part-time MBA programs and among the top 20 part-time MBA programs at public universities in the U.S.
This year, 291 eligible part-time MBA programs were surveyed by U.S. News & World Report, and 272 submitted enough data to meet the criteria to be included in the ranking.
U.S. NEWS RANKING METHODOLOGIES
U.S. News’ full-time MBA ranking is based on several key metrics: student selectivity (average undergraduate grade point average, average GMAT and GRE scores, and acceptance rate for the fall 2019 class); quality assessment surveys from recruiters and peers (business school deans and MBA program directors); and job placement success for graduates based on average starting salary and bonus, and employment rates at graduation and three months later.
U.S. News’ part-time MBA ranking is based on five factors: peer assessment by business school deans and MBA program directors (50%); average GMAT and average GRE quantitative, verbal and analytical writing scores of part-time MBA students entering in fall 2019 (15%); and the percentage of the business school’s fall 2019 MBA enrollment that is part time (12.5%); average undergraduate GPA of fall 2019 entering part-time MBA students (12.5%); and the number of years of work experience (10%).
