In the HKU-NWS Joint University Case Competition organized last Sunday, 4 teams of undergraduates from HKUST Business School won the finalist awards, including the Championship and the Best Presenter Award, as well as the first, second and third runner-up titles.
The competition is an annual event that aims to provide a platform for students to hone their case cracking, analytical and presentation skills. This year, the organizer collaborates with NWS Holdings to present real-life business challenges to participants, cultivating critical thinking and instilling practical industry knowledge in fellow case solvers through mentorship from NWS professionals and experts.
The competition consists of a Preliminary Round and a Grand Final, with 16 teams from CityU, CUHK, HKU, and HKUST competed in 4 divisions in the preliminary round, the best team from each division then entered the grand final.
All 4 finalist teams come from HKUST Business School, and the champion will be offered internship opportunities in NWS from June to August 2021. Congratulations to the teams!
This record-setting performance could not be made possible without the great efforts of the Case Analysis Team (CAT), including its Head Committee and Alumni, in training and supporting all HKUST teams to participate in HKU-NWS Joint University Case Competition and many other case competition activities.
