New study sheds light on the role of social entrepreneurship in obesity prevention

Obesity has sometimes been called the silent epidemic, exposing millions of adults and children around the world to increased risks of non-communicable diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and coronary heart disease.

As countries continue to grapple with rising rates of obesity, a first-of-its-kind NUS Business School study of more than 500 social ventures has shed light on the methods used by social entrepreneurs to tackle this complex issue.
