The QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2024 table is based on indicators measuring an institution’s ability to tackle the world’s greatest environmental, social and governance (ESG) challenges: environmental impact, social impact and governance.
Lancaster’s 2024 overall position is lower than last year when the University was ranked 26th, but reflects a strong performance given the number of institutions now featured in the rankings has doubled. This year’s results place Lancaster in the top 3.5% of universities worldwide, compared to the top 4% in 2022.
