World Piano Teachers Association Poland and the Institute of Music at the University of Silesia in Katowice co-organise the 1st Music Alive International Piano Competition Online, which is addressed to pianists of all nations up to the age of 25. The competition will be conducted in five age categories, and the participants will be evaluated by an international jury. The winners will be selected based on the links to video recordings sent by the participants.
The competition winners will be awarded with cash prizes sponsored by the Rector of the University of Silesia in Katowice, scholarships for participation in Lunigiana International Music Festival, as well as master classes, concerts and lectures during the 1st International Symposium of Pianistic Art and Musical Education, which is planned for the next year and jointly organised by World Piano Teachers Association Poland and the Institute of Music at the University of Silesia in Katowice.
Applications can be submitted until 30 June 2020.
