The Masters and MBA fair will next take place in January 2013 and has now been organised for the past seven consecutive years.

New on the agenda for the 2013 fair is an International area that will be dedicated to students wishing to start a Master's programme abroad.

Reasons to Attend
This fair provides exhibitors with a unique occasion to present their Masters and MBA programmes. The objectives are to determine the most suitable orientation according to the student’s professional plan, and to favour the pursuit of postgraduate studies: Masters, MBA, and special programmes in order to help students acquire a the next level in their studies. The students coming to the fair have the opportunity to meet the best universities and the most prestigious schools in order to be knowledgeable on the best choice of institution and course and to seek the professional guidance given by those institutions about those choices.

Market Overview
According to the French government, about 100,000 French students go to abroad for their studies; among them 25,945 are Erasmus exchange students.

France is attractive for student recruitment because of the high number of students prepared to study abroad. French students want to improve their language skills and other skills and finally optimize their integration in the professional world thanks to foreign study programmes. French students and employees of companies consider studying abroad provides a big advantage for a successful professional career. When students want to pursue a professional career abroad, studies in a foreign country is the best way to integrate into that country at first.

Each year, more 47,000 French students take degrees in non-native European Union countries. France has a population of 62.9 million with a per capita GDP of US $31,096 and is the third-largest economy in Europe after Germany and the UK. French higher education has a long tradition of openness and accessibility*. The national government devotes 20 percent of its annual budget to education. Fees for both French and international students are kept very low to persuade students to stay in education as long as possible. There are about 190,000 international students, from all over the world, currently enrolled in French higher education.

Fair Outline
This fair concerns Masters & MBA departments and Business and Engineering Programmes. Close to 50 prestigious schools presenting no less than 250 courses and programmes came to inform students about their MBA, Masters and special programmes, under the title “Conférence des Grandes Ecoles”. Institutions from all parts of France are on site to present their courses from Bac+3 to Bac+5 to students who plan on integrating a Masters or a specialised programme, with or without previous experience.
An area dedicated to "Job and Internship Offers" will specifically target postgraduate students and will be available to give free consultation to them.

Other highlights of the fair

  • A specialised bookshop with over 150 books about the subject of the fair, orientation and extracurricular activities.
  • Conferences and lectures held throughout the day
  • A guide desk at the front of the fair distributes free copies of the Go Bac+4/5 and the Masters Official guide to each visitor.
  • Various conferences led by professionals giving guidance to the students in their choice of a Masters course.
