The University of New England has introduced a register for people available for casual or short-term administrative work.

The casual register enables the many Directorates and Schools of the University to source casual and short-term temporary staff with generic and specialised administrative skills for full-time and part-time hours.

The hourly rate of pay is dependent on the skill level required for each position, and as per the relevant UNE enterprise agreement.

Applicants should complete the online application form, attach a curriculum vitae and include the period and hours they are available for work. These positions do not have selection criteria.

The information provided by applicants will be made available to any relevant staff of the University for the purpose of seeking appropriately qualified and skilled casual or temporary staff.

You may be contacted should a casual vacancy occur that is commensurate with your skills and experience.

The Casual Administrative Staff Register is referred to for a six-month period.

Applications on this register will expire on 14 January 2013 and applicants will be invited, through their email address provided, to reapply for consideration for the following six-month period.

Should you wish to be considered for a casual position after 14 January 2013
you will need to re-apply after that date.

By joining our Casual Register you will not automatically be considered for advertised vacancies. If you wish to be considered for an advertised vacancy, please ensure you apply for the relevant vacancy through the web site.

Current register closes: 14 January 2013
