On the evening of July 6th, 2020, the opening ceremony of the 5th Zhi-Hong International Summer School of Advanced Materials (Zhi-Hong ISS) hosted by the School of Material Science and Engineering (SMSE), Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) was held online.

Organised by the Department of Portuguese of UM’s Faculty of Arts and Humanities, the 36th Portuguese Language Summer Course will include language courses and thematic courses, which will be held online via Moodle and Zoom between 9:00am and 6:00pm every working day over the period of the summer course.

During the International Summer School’s second cycle, from June 23th to July 4th, visiting professors Dale Fodness from University of Dallas, Claude Chailan from EM Strasbourg and Jaime Sabal from ESADE, participated in the online program.

The student at William Mason High School in Mason, Ohio, enrolled in the University of Cincinnati’s Biology Meets Engineering course, which gives students both at UC and Cincinnati-area high schools a chance to learn about both disciplines while they work on animal-inspired robotics projects.
